BanklessDAO Treasury Guild Budget Request for Season 5
The Treasury Guild has worked towards giving a financial overview of BanklessDAO and its Guilds, making this information readily available to all and auditing current practices. In addition to this, the Treasury Guild is working towards researching in the tokenomics area and proposing new strategies. This will remain our main focus for Season 5.
Season 4
In Season 4 we have successfully established 4 different working groups to research different tokenomics topics. These are:
- L2 migration
- BANK Utility
- Treasury Diversification
- Tokenomics Levelling Up
Season 5
For Season 5 we will continue to provide a financial overview of the main Bankless DAO Treasury with monthly summaries and quarterly financial reports.
In addition to this, the Tokenomics department will continue its research into the different subjects mentioned above.
However, one of the main goals for this Season will be to discuss the governance of the guild and propose and/or create a governance framework.
To accomplish these objectives we need the following positions:
- Treasury Guild Organiser
- Accounts and Payments Analyst
- Financial Reporting Analyst
- Tokenomics Coordinator
The working groups will be compensated with 25,000 BANK for the whole Season each and it will be distributed amongst its members by Coordinape or any other method agreed between them during the Season.
Furthermore, we need 25,000 BANK to pay to the Design Guild to work on the design of the quarterly reports. In total we need 50,000 BANK for this purpose.
In Season 5 we will not have the Budgets Analyst role that has been in the guild in the last few Season. From now on, each guild should manage and keep track of their multisigs.
The total budget request for the Treasury Guild for Season 5 is 560,000 BANK as per the summary below and this covers the months from August to October.

Treasury Guild Organiser
Role holder: Kouros
The Treasury Guild Organizer is responsible for supervising, organizing, and coordinating activities in the Treasury Guild like moderating weekly meetings or representing the Guild in the Community Calls while meeting the objectives set up by the DAO.
Responsibilities/Domain
The responsibilities of this role are to:

Coordinate activities in the Treasury Guild, these include:
- Bounty board management,
- Coordinate roles in the guild treasury and establish a fair payment for them.
- Coordinate the Guilds own accounting.
- Coordinate the DAOs accounting.
- Coordinate the DAOs financial reporting.
- Coordinate account payable and account receivable.

Accounts and Payments Analyst
Role holder: Kouros
The Accounts & Payments Analyst is responsible for supervising and handling the DAO’s financial reports, accounts payable, accounts receivable and invoices.
Responsibilities/Domain
The responsibilities of this role are to:
• Maintain the financial report spreadsheet. Upload transactions, volume of BANK traded, BANK holders.
• Prepare monthly Treasury statements.
• Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable. Managing payments going in and out of the main Treasury.
• Maintain and update the Invoice tracker.
• Issue invoices.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding invoices and payment of invoices.
• Oversee and manage operational costs of the DAO.
• Handle gas reimbursements.

Financial Reporting Analyst
Role holder: Ground Up To
The Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing documentation that gives evidence of the BanklessDAO’s financial standing.
In other words, the Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing the financial quarterly reports.
The role holder works closely with the Treasury Guild Organiser and the Accounts and Payments Analyst in order to coordinate and successfully deliver the report.
The production of up-to-date data and financial statements is a necessary labour for BanklessDAO so the financial data and information is readily available for all.

- Analyse income and expenses.
- Reconcile accounts.
- Prepare quarterly financial reports.
- Prepare notes on findings.
- Attend Guilds’ meeting if needed.

Role holder: Icedcool
The Tokenomics Coordinator is responsible for supervising, organizing, and coordinating activities related to tokenomics like moderating weekly meetings or being the first point of touch for this topic.
