Hey BDAO members,
I noticed a few members discussing a large number of notifications/pings/mentions in BDAO Discord server.
One member suggested we should restrict pings/mentions. Another member thought it should be left open.
I just wanted to get everyone’s thoughts on this and let everyone know about some Wick bot features.
Wick bot does offer these features around pings/mentions:
1 - Can restrict pings/mentions all together
2 - Allows for pings/mentions whitelist of members/roles/channels.
3 - Only restrict @role mentions/pings
4 - Only restrict @user mentions
5 - Rate limit mentions to a maximum of 1 mention per hour per user.
Also, curious to hear people’s ideas around grouping notifications/news too.
