We should make sure to loop in nonsense on this since it had lined up similar to the “welcome mats” and although I haven’t used a welcome mat, some method of being ported from the dao first quest to the specific mat for each guild/team/project (however that looks as a mat) would be amazing!
This is looking great!
I’d agree that 12 hours is a bit on the long end. Yeah, it would be lower intensity work for those time frames, but if shifts will be assigned in advance, we could consider doing something shorter such that it is continuous. 12 hours as a nurse is long, 4 hours crewing a racing yacht through a storm during the night is long. There could be a calendar sign up for shifts with adjacent shorter shifts of even four hours, such that it’d be flexible, and people could do a maximum of 3 consecutive four hour shifts? Just spitballin here If there was a calendar sign up, people could then also know who to contact if something comes up and they’re suddenly unable to perform the responsibilities for either some or all of the allocated time!
yeah, maybe we should just make it more “loose” to start, like brief the level 2 contributors. and whoever successfully “pick up” a new member with the right first quest tags, can submit for a bounty and “get paid”.
That’s really not a bad idea! Or even have it be from a pool of people who opt in to being in said pool. Something like having a link at the end of First Quest saying “If you’d like a mentor or someone specific to ask questions with, click this notion page link…” and that’d take them to a list of everyone willing and they could just randomly pick it off of there. Or if there was a way to have a name randomly given…
